About Brian

Bonnie, Baxter (Chocolate Lab), Bella, Alece, Cal, Brian

Brian currently lives with his family in Aubrey, TX. He has been married to Bonnie since Dec 2002. They have three wonderful children (pictured above).

Brian was born in Utica, MN in June 1978. His formative years were spent in Lancaster, PA, where he was an active member in several school and church related activities. With a blue-collar, middle class heritage of farmers and truck-drivers, Brian learned early the value of hard work to achieve his goals. Upon graduation from Conestoga Valley High School in June 1997, Brian moved to Cedar Falls, IA to pursue undergraduate studies in elementary and middle level education from the University of Northern Iowa (May 2002).

It was during his college years that Brian’s passion for influencing young people shifted from education to ministry. That lead him to seven fruitful years of ministry to military teens on US military bases in Germany and Italy with Club Beyond via Youth For Christ.

In May 2014, Brian earned a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary where he concentrated his studies in Spiritual Formation and Leadership Studies. His life mission is to be helpful to the church by growing God’s kingdom in depth and breadth by working with young people or those who work with them.

Brian also served as a senior staff writer for rezilientlife (RezLife), an innovative online Christian resource for military teens and their youth leaders. RezLife is a partnership between Club Beyond and American Bible Society.

He and his wife also spear-head a global movement to transform the way people all over the world think about their physical and financial health with their online business Proven Nutrition For Kids. He says,

Even though life is pretty busy for us right now, I am thankful for all the opportunities God has given us to meaningfully touch the lives of people by meeting both their physical and spiritual needs.
